Fire shutters for security and fire protection

Our fire shutters provide a perfect solution where fire protection and security is required for your building. Our products are designed to be a security barrier during normal use and to be closed automatically during a test or an emergency fire situation. In the event of receiving a fire alarm signal the barrier will perform a powered descent to create a fire resistant barrier. We supply and fit all ancilliary control equipment, panels, detectors and sounders to meet your specific needs. The fire shutters are available with a 1, 2 or 4 hour rating offering a solution for most requirements.

Our Fire Shutters are tested to approved standards with fire resistance performance to BS EN 13241-1:2014+A1:2018, and BS EN 16034:2014. In the event of power failure Flame Shutter will close using the battery backup feature.Flame Shutters design allows for both face or reveal installations.



The electrically operated vertical fire shutter consists of a steel slatted curtain and galvanised steel box assembly and guide rails. The box, curtain, guide rails and bottom rail can be powder coated as an optional extra. You can view the range of colours here.
